Alisa D. Smith- Office Manager

Alisa D. Smith has worked in the Brooke County Prosecutor’s Office for approximately 35 years.  She began her employment as a legal secretary for Attorneys Charles D. Bell, J.P. McMullen, Jr. and David B. Cross.    In 1979 David B. Cross was hired in the position of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney and then was elected Prosecuting Attorney in 1980, and since that time, Alisa has served Brooke County as a legal secretary and office manager.

In 2012 Joseph E. Barki, III was elected as Prosecuting Attorney and Alisa continued her employment as office manager for the Brooke County Prosecutor’s Office.

Alisa is a graduate of Brooke High School and continued her education at West Virginia Business College wherein she attained a secretarial degree.

Alisa was born and raised in Brooke County, West Virginia and resides in Wellsburg, WV with her husband, Raymond, whom she married in 1978.  They have one daughter.
